FDJ (Desert Psychlist)
Proto-metal-ish grooves crammed with lots of lovely fuzz and distortion coated with cool throaty vocals. If this is a rehearsal recording then a full studio recording is gonna be out of this world!

Far away from home,
where those villains belong,
a spot of wrath and pain,
besides a dark winding lane,
hidden by a cave,
apparent mere by day,
and I once passed by,
in the wrong time at the wrong place.
Awaking after passing out,
the warming candle just burned out.
Surrounded by those eerie shapes,
my last thoughts torn apart in tapes.
Facing you at the advent of dawn,
filled by a stabbing I cannot recall.
The sublime appeared; my will to live gone;
thrived by my fear; in the cold-hearted fall.
Their dreadful deeds came through my mind,
bereft of power, I walked the line.
But I arose and bundled all my strength,
and fought and won for the glorious men.
Facing you at the advent of dawn,
filled by a stabbing I cannot recall.
The sublime appeared; my will to live gone;
thrived by my fear; in the cold-hearted fall.
Far away from home,
the sheer horror is gone.
But back home again,
my life is still trapped in that frame.
Oh dear love, I travelled thousand miles,
met evil beasts, committed most ghastly crimes.
I Never thought of feeling fear.
Step by step, oh baby, year by year.
So, my life went on – round and round.
The sense seemed gone until this certain night.
The night I met you, the night you passed
The night I touched you first.
Went through hell to find my love
Went through hell to find my peace
While skin on skin, embraced by love,
a sudden lightning struck us harsh.
Our bodies fused to an unknown shape,
side by side: eternal.
Went through hell to find my love
Went through hell to find my peace
... to find my love
... to find my love
... to find my love
... to find my love
You wanna know, you want it now.
Don‘t hesitate, just keep the flow.
Another step on the road of bolts.
Let‘s give this life a little overload.
You know, I follow.
Plain truth forevermore.
Cause I can‘t get through on my own.
We share the way to mental doom.
Inevitable; everywhere
the system fits; it always bears
the wit you think you have to have.
(But) the more you find, the less you grasp
‘cause you assume to know
(that) plain truth is always told.
But I can get through on my own
and halt confusion all alone.
As far as you, I can‘t go:
Blinded by distracting frauds
too dull to overcome those loads -
to save the wisdom of gods.
Your blood is running
there’re scares of man-made pain.
Raped by those servants
(of) commerce ’n industry.
Hey … (Get) out of my way
They kill your newborns
and feed them to their same.
The list is endless
of their destroying games.
Hey … (Get) out of my way
Virus came;
Everlasting game.
Devoured by the House of Clouds.
A dire situation.
Tried to find my last resort
in pure imagination.
Life‘s a ride
There’s sometimes fog;
Never bright
Life‘s a ride
There’s sometimes fog;
At times light
Dense clouds blurred my view
a veil of mist and nation.
Dazzled by a sudden glare
Freed by illumination.
Life‘s a ride
There’s sometimes fog;
Never bright
Life‘s a ride
There’s sometimes fog;
At times light

Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
Throwing softness and subtlety to the wind, Stockholm's Lowrider raze a molten, stoner-rock warpath, all fuzzy riffs and percussive grit. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 19, 2020

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
